Raves & Reviews
in Rangeley, Maine
is something we can’t do without …so venture up to the mountains
of Maine and enjoy the hospitality of our small County Inn. Few
locations offer such unspoiled beauty and lack of commercialism.
Let us share with you some of the comments made by our guests:
“Your Inn allows plenty of time for relaxation and solitude
which helps us restore ourselves for the busy lives we lead”.
“Its something to see a sky so studded with stars that they
touch the mountains”.
“The casual appearance of deer and moose right outside our rooms
was a dream come true.”
“I’ve never known complete calm or silence before”.
“Why don’t you rave more about your food? Your breakfasts are
delicious and the roast duck is the best that we’ve ever had!
“Thanks for another great stay at your Inn. From the fabulous
food to the spectacular views and from all the warmth and
graciousness you offer to all. We felt like welcomed and special
guests in your home. The only unpleasant part of the stay was
having to leave.”
The County Club Inn has many published reviews over the years.
We have been very fortunate to be written up in Downeast
Magazine, Yankee Magazine, Travel & Leisure-Golf, numerous
Inn books & guides, Portland Press Herald & other New
One article in DOWNEAST MAGAZINE titled “Best Seat in
the Woods” sums it up: They wrote … “Gorgeous scenery
might not actually be on the menu of the Country Club Inn in
Rangeley, but to the guests at this down-to-earth 1920s resort
the vista is as important a part of the dining experience as the
Salmon & Haddock Chowder or the Roast Duck Montmorency.”
