Our Mission:  The purpose of Friends shall be to increase awareness of Maine libraries and their resources, to support and enhance the Rangeley Public Library through service and fund-raising, to share information and ideas among Friends with a periodic newsletter, and to be an advocate for good library service throughout the state.

What We Do:  Friends of the Rangeley Public Library support the library in a number of ways. Volunteers from the group serve in the library at a variety of daily tasks, put on the four major yearly library sales, hold regular quarterly meetings with programs for Friends and the public and raise money for their needs through non-compulsory dues and contributions.
