Moosehead Lake
Scenic Loop
Fly out
of the Rangeley Lakes Region and trek north
through the mountains and valley lakes of
western Maine. Turning east out of Jackman
we follow the Moose River to Rockwood and into
upper Moosehead Lake Region. View Mt.
Katadin, Kineo, and other spectacular terrain
features as we fly south on the Moosehead
shoreline. Enjoy watching rafters flow
down the rapids as we glide through the Kennebec
River Valley and return to Flagstaff Lake and
the chief Bigelow Range.
North Rangeley
Scenic Loop
Depart
out of Rangeley Lake and fly north. View the
Bigelow Mountain Range and Flagstaff Lake as we
make our way up to the Moose River Flats.
Banking off to the west, we will weave our way
through the numerous mountains and valleys that
make up the western Maine mountain region. You
will see many ponds, lakes, and rivers nestled
throughout this breathtaking area. This flight
takes us along the Canadian border as we make
our way back through this glacially shaped
wonderland. We then finish our flight adventure
with a spectacular panoramic view of the
Rangeley Lake Region and Mt. Washington. Very
scenic.
